Welcome

Connecting ecosystems, scales, and ideas.

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at Louisiana State University. My research broadly focuses on understanding connections across ecosystems and the processes that structure aquatic food webs.

I combine field studies, stable isotopes, fatty-acid biomarkers, contaminant analysis, and ecological modeling to investigate freshwater, coastal, and terrestrial systems.

Research themes

Questions that cross boundaries.

Our research connects the movement of resources across ecosystems with the structure of food webs and the ecological consequences of environmental change.

People & mentoring

Science is collaborative.

Our research group brings together undergraduate and graduate researchers studying ecological connections, food webs, and environmental change. Mentoring and collaboration are central to how we ask questions and conduct research.
